Since i was a kid i really want to be a Doctor that specializes brain which is Neurosurgeon that’s why i want to show you the path i or we will go through.
Here’s the path and tips to achieved our dreams:
1st. Do well in Highschool – By doing well in high school makes your dreams achieved more. It will be easier process for you because you get a chance to go to better universities that will help your studies better and that’s where your dreams come true.
2nd. Go into a Great College – As what i said going to a great college will help you a lot to pursue your dreams. Wanting to be doctor is not a easy path. You will need to take Pre Med Courses first depends on what you want to pursue then you need to pass your MCAT after you graduate pre med courses. So all in all you need to study very hard and get good grades to get more opportunities in life.
3rd. You need to take Med Courses – After you pass pre med courses you need to study again for medicine. find a University which is good to the specialization that you want. It will take so many years to graduate again. First is you need to take classroom works for 1-2years. Second is in your year 3 you will be trained for major medical specialty, in this part you will start working with patients and you will be led by supervisor. Lastly, you need to take your specialized course you want and you will be a resident.
4th. Finish your Residency – It takes 3-4years to finish this. this time you will be an intern to the hospital and work with doctors and patients. Here’s some list on the Specialized courses. If you want to pursue one of it it will take a lot of time to pursue it and you need to be good for brighter future.
- Anesthesiology: 4 years
- Dermatology: 4 years
- Emergency Medicine: 3-4 years
- General Surgery: 5 years
- Internal Medicine: 3 years
- Neurology: 4 years
- Obstetrics and Gynecology: 4 years
- Pathology: 4 years
- Pediatrics: 3 years
- Psychiatry: 4 years
- Radiology: 4-5 years
5th. Pass your Board Exam and be on TOP – Being good in board exam will bring you much fortune so you need to study very hard to achieve your long dreams. With all those efforts you make it will not go to waste. SO BE PREPARED AND I KNOW YOU GUYS CAN DO IT!!!
